Application Process

The application process at The YMCA Academy allows students and their families to see our facilities, meet our staff and learn more about our exciting program during their initial visit.  Appointments for school visits can be made by contacting the Director of Admissions at 416-928-0124 ext. 5.


Following the initial tour, families receive the application form - or you may download it here.  It is designed to gain important information about a student's learning style, strengths, challenges and educational history. Completed application forms should be accompanied by:


  1. Bullet a current report card (transcript if available)

  2. Bullet psychoeducational assessment (if available)

  3. Bullet Individual Education Plan (if available)

  4. Bullet $200 application fee


Applicants are required to complete a literacy

and math assessment (administered at the

Academy) prior to acceptance.


Tuition Fees

The tuition fee for the 2008-2009 school year is $13,650.00.


There is a one-time incidental fee of $2,000.00 for new students.

$1,000.00 is non-refundable and $1,000.00 is credited toward last payment.
