No experience is necessary! Just bring your enthusiasm and positive energy!

Run club is a weekly meeting to learn about and practice running. Our goal is to prepare for the Bold and Cold 5k, hosted by Team Unbreakable. We will meet on Wednesday mornings before school. We will be running outside (weather permitting), when we are unable to run outside, we will use the track at the Y.
We will meet at the entrance to the North Side (we will let students in and ask them to leave their belongings in the Purple Room before heading to the park).
Please note a permission form is required. If your child indicates interest in this club, we will reach out with a permission form for you to sign.

We hope to foster members' experimentation and creative mindset. Members will be collaborating on group projects. Members can also simply use this space to work on class activities, assignments and sketchbook work in a creative environment where we inspire each other. Additionally, members of Art Space can showcase their work in the end-of-year Art Show, celebrating their artistic journeys.

Our club is funded and supported by Jack.org, an initiative aimed at bringing youth together and building capacity for mental health activities. Training is provided, and students earn volunteer hours as well as valuable leadership skills as they contribute to the mental health and well-being of our community.
Note: As a student leadership club, the Jack Chapter occasionally meets at additional times when planning events and initiatives. High School students only.

Mock Trial Club is an opportunity to explore aspects of criminal law while developing literacy, oral communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills in a fun and challenging co-curricular role-playing experience. For the first part of the school year, students will learn the basics and form two teams that will “play” against each other. Beginning in January, the club will focus on tackling the 2025 Ontario Bar Association high school mock trial case. Students demonstrating a high level of commitment and proficiency will have the opportunity to participate in the city-wide competitive mock trial tournament in early May.
Note: While in the second semester connections will be made to the Grade 11/12 Law class, students do not need to be enrolled in the class in order to participate, nor are students taking Law required to participate in Mock Trial.
Meeting times may be adjusted or added on an as-needed basis.
